In Soul Eater, Humans are the most abundant of individuals in the series. They can be considered the weakest of all the types of beings, having no recognizable, unique power. Despite this, their souls are highly sought after for those on their way to becoming a Kishin. Humans with exceptional soul wavelengths are considered meisters. A human's soul is distinguished by a blue color.
HUMAN SOUL
Despite most humans displaying no unique power, their soul's, however, seem to be extremely special. A human becomes an Evil Human once the person in question consumes another pure human soul. The end result is that the human's soul becomes corrupted and thus proceeds to feed on more human souls which leads them on the path of becoming a Kishin. It should be noted that consuming a pure soul causes the consumers soul to become corrupted but, paradoxically, however, consuming an Evil Human's soul has no recognizable side effects. Human souls can be considered a delicacy for the insane and has been alluded to yield far more gains than consuming an evil soul, though at the cost of one's sanity.
STRONG SOUL
Among humans, there are few that possess a strong soul. Such a soul is uncommon and often held by a highly skilled individual.
One such human is Mifune, whose soul is valued at 99 regular human souls. BlackāStar and Tsubaki Nakatsukasa attempted to take Mifune's soul in order to avoid gathering 99 individual souls. However they let him go, after learning that he is protecting a child witch, Angela Leon.
